Here's an interview with Mick Thacker done by Morten Hoegh in Adelaide during NOI 2012. Morten is a Danish faculty member of NOI and has just completed the MSc Pain; Science and Society programme at King’s College, London lead by Thacker. The issue up for discussion is understanding pain from a theoretical and philosophical perspective.
Here Ole Reidar Johansen put a lecture with Mick. Here's part 2. Mick goes back to the good old days where he wrote some extraordinary articles with the great Louis Gifford in the Topical Issues in Pain series. Here's the presentation of him on the King's College London website. He was fortunate to work together with Patrick Wall for a while. Amazing. He's been characterized by Moseley as "the Worlds Nicest Smart Person".
