I just found out today Dr. Peter Huijbregts passed away. There are articles about his work available from other physiotherapy communities. I thought some of you might know of him or know him personally. I offer my condolences. He was an impressive speaker and educator when I met him in my school.

Yes, he was a prominent member of the PT profession. He taught at your school, did he?

Diane, Peter was at the massage school in Victoria to speak about the clinical decision on whether to perform the vertebral artery test or not. He presented his research paper on the subject. After the lecture I introduced myself as a SomaSimple member, my interest in neurorscience and knowing Barrett. He was a member here apparently and told me about his work on Stan Paris' biography.
He also co-authored my favorite Kinesio-tape paper. Karen Last edited by Karen L; 04-12-2010 at 03:44 AM. |

Sorry Barrett autobiography possibly. I believe Peter mentioned he was working on Stan's personal papers. I may be completely wrong but I don't think I misunderstood him. Maybe it was for a journal article. Please forgive me if I have made a mistake on this matter.

I know Peter and have the posibility of working with him in some of our research, and I was very impressed with his death.
He has done a very good job for our profession and there are some papers and books that are going to be published due to the work he has done. These are the papers we have published together, I think this is also de kinesiotaping paper that Karen L has talked about before. In memoriam.
