SomaSimple is very pleased to have Nicholas Lucas as our second guest in our new Choices program.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science, and Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) from Victoria University (Melbourne), and then a Graduate Diploma of Clinical Epidemiology, and Master of Pain Medicine from the University of Newcastle. He is currently working on a PhD at the University of Sydney, examining the evidence for the validity and reliability of clinical diagnostic examinations in physical medicine. Nicholas has also undertaken postgraduate study in the McKenzie system of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, and also taken courses with Shirley Sarhmann and David Butler.

Nicholas is a highly respected lecturer at the University of Western Sydney where he teaches pain neurobiology, pain medicine, and clinical diagnostic examination, and co-ordinates and supervises research projects in the master of osteopathy degree.
