Dear all,
I have just finished another great interview with Dr. Roy Sugarman, an Australian neuropsychologist, who deals primarily with athletes, but don't let that deter you from listening. He was really speaking "our" language of neuroscience in a simple way. The link is here We spoke a lot about how emotions and thoughts that can affect motor activity and how this can really hold many people back from their full potential. I would have to guess this is something that also speaks to physical therapists as clinicians professionally and personally. We all have varied populations that we work with, but I believe they are all on that continuum of healing/self-improvement, so I think this interview, like all the others, will be helpful. I'd love to hear your thoughts and pass any questions on to Dr. Sugarman. Thanks for listening again!!! Will Last edited by thrill96; 28-05-2011 at 03:45 AM. Reason: Added link to interview |

Really cool interview, Will. Nice explanation of what "motor" is, and what "sensory" is. I'm about halfway through listening.
Thanks again for doing these interviews. Great service. ![]()

I listened to the first half or so and then my attention was diverted by actual fleshy conversation that was happening around me. I'll get back to listen to the rest when the opportunity arises.
