Very early one morning I came across an essay that led me to some additional reading, and then that led me somewhere else. Much of this is pretty good stuff.

See where it leads you.

I have to say, all of this searching in an effort to gain a foothold in practice – it’s exhausting.

I can get within six feet of any referral source...

Everytime I go to visit this referral source there's no receptionist to stop me...

When I speak this referral source really listens...

The referral source that really listens is enlightening. There have been so many in that past that didn't have the time, or rather didn't want to take the time. Donuts or lunch had to be the way in the door so they could multi-task while half listening. That game isn't for me anymore. I remain optimistic and dedicated to my work. There are ones ready to listen.

I see myself as having a connected mind (created by my brain, of course) that has the simple ability to retain information relevant to therapy, or my version of it. As it turns out, I am here where I should be.
