Often I hear from other therapists that they can’t keep up with the intellectual advances in our profession because they have computer problems (slow, kids won’t let them on, fear, too expensive, no reliable access, spouse won’t let them on, fear, no time, fear, they’re too old, they like the outdoors too much, they’re afraid they’ll get addicted, can’t type, fear and, “these days there’s no time”).
Did I mention fear? But in 1980 I read Breig’s text (interlibrary loan), altered my thinking entirely and then saw a review of Butler’s first book, Mobilization of the Nervous System in 1990. I sat down and wrote a letter, took it to the post office and mailed it to Australia. That’s why I’m here today, and, as far as I know, I could do the same thing tomorrow. Ah, but the difference lies in the effect Breig and Butler had on you.
For someone else, it could have resulted in a yawn and a 'so what' and as I have noticed over 20 years, that is just 'what' happened to most PTs. Nari |

Of course you would...could...I once asked you Barrett...Well...where do I start? You said, "Well I can't tell you where to start. You just have to...jump in...and I did and I'm glad I did...thanks...Robert
