Hey Fred, it's in Quebec city.
You might want to send in a proposal to present there - you could make a slideshow or at least a poster with material from your excellent paper.

Jason Silvernail and I may try to co-present here. We just started considering it today.

I'm already planning on being there...it's jokingly the "family vacation" in 2012.
"Hey kids, remember how you always wanted to go to Quebec City?" Hey Barrett, I bet that you don't even need to pay for a hotel room, being dead and all.

![]() ![]() We could have a meeting of SS and CPA-PSD!!!![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Actually, we could have an "alternative" pre-/post program. I'm planning on it. And I'll be attending whatever Barrett and Jason present. (I went to elementary school in Quebec and have friends there.) Mary

Diane,
Yeah, a poster maybe. I sure don't have enough material for a course, let alone experience or reputation to fill the course. Surely I will try to attend this conference of IFOMPT. I'm sure we could make a presentation as a collective. This could be a good opportunity to get some attention on our ideas.

I love this! I get to do two excellent things: visit my favourite Canadian city and finally, finally, get to meet face to face with Barrett, Jason and others here. (Bernard, any chance you'd be here?)

I will most likely be in Quebec City to present a poster and would be the first to sign up for a pre or post conference course with SS and/or CPA-PSD contributors. I love the idea of a collective presentation including: pain science, ideomotion, DNM, changes in manual therapy.

Nothing like jumping straight into the ocean from the plane before any practice together as a sky-diving team.
Someone would have to take it on - organize it, shape it, mold it, massage it into a collective contribution. I can't. It would have to be only SS, not PSD, not officially PSD, anyway - just me with the SS hat on.

I for one would attend any of the conferences you good people can muster
. Considering it's in 2012, it'll give me enough time to save up some dough.

It would be interesting to see how many of the 1500+ members of CPA-PSD would be interested in attending a SS event. Could we persuade Debbie Patterson to come with her wonderful relaxation cd? She has everything almost ready to do the recording in French--something I really need for work here in Bathurst.
At this point, my only contribution could be a brief presentation on the Stanford self-management programs. Mary

From the call for workshops, it looks like the ideal candidate to submit the outline would have:
1) a university affiliation 2) multiple publications 3) teaching experience Who fits this bill? |
